Our 8-inch German Chocolate cake is a rich, moist chocolate layer cake topped with our creamy German chocolate frosting.  The two layers are filled with a blend of coconut, pecans and rum.  Chocolate cake crumbs adorn the sides.

Contrary to popular, German Chocolate cake did not originate in Germany.  It is named in honor of American Sam German who developed a brand of dark baking chocolate in 1852!
