Some of our foods, such as cookies, breads, and candies, are easier to ship. However, the online delivery for our cakes, for example, requires more care and special packaging.
All perishable or refrigerated items ship either next day or second day delivery through Federal Express, UPS, or USPS, depending on our partner bakeries' preference, in order to ensure freshness and your satisfaction.

The Delivery Process for Refrigerated or Perishable Items
Our delivery process consists of several steps to ensure that your cake or dessert arrives at your door just as it was when it left us. The images below will help to illustrate our online cake delivery process.
The first step is preparing the shipping box. A Styrofoam seat is set into the box, along with some refrigerant gel packs to keep the product cool. The boxed product is then set inside of the box, fitting snugly inside of its seat.

Refrigerant gel packs are placed in any crevices between the product and its seat so that it will stay as cool as necessary to stay intact. Gel packs are also placed on top of the product. The lid of the seat is then placed over the product, fitting snugly so that the product will have no room to wiggle during its travel.

Finally, the package is taped and secured, ready to be shipped.
