As the seasons change, so does the bakery showcase. As summer ends and September begins, fall colors appear on cookies and cakes, and new flavors come into season.

Here at 1-800-Bakery.com, the arrivial of autumn means a variety of new, seasonal products that will be available only for a limited time. I've put together this guide to help you plan for autumn gift-giving and special occasions. Look for these foods in the coming weeks.

Mini Cookies
Pictures never do justice to these lovely cookies. Whenever they arrive in the office, the staff has the same reaction--they look too good to eat. Each clear tub contains about 23 butter cookies decorated in rolled fondant. They turn heads either in the tub or arranged on a plate. 

We'll be adding new Supercookies in the coming weeks and saying goodbye to some summer favorites.

• Baseball Mini Cookies will not be available after October 1
• Football Mini Cookies (top right) arrive September 1
• Halloween Mini Cookies (bottom left) arrive September 15
• Autumn Mini Cookies (top left) arrive October 1
• Harvest Mini Cookies (bottom right) arrive October 15

Harvest Petits Fours
On September 15, look for this autumn-themed collection of petits fours from Divine Delights, including Chocolate Truffle Pumpkins, Mocha Turkeys, Ambrosia Pears, Butter Spice Apples, and White Chocolate Concord Grapes. This harvest of flavors will only be available until November 30.

We'll also have a collection of Halloween petits fours available on September 15. And because so many of you have requested it, we'll be offering many of our petits fours in larger quantities starting September 1.

Cranberry Walnut Cheese Tart
Finally, as the fall harvest rolls in, Bittersweet Pastries offers two seasonal creations. Both the Cranberry Walnut Cheese Tart and the Rum Pumpkin Tart will be available beginning October 15.
